Avoiding Ebola – Kinyarwanda
The Kinyarwanda ‘Avoiding Ebola’ DVD has four key focus points.
It begins by teaching what Ebola is, how it can be caught and thus how to protect yourself and others from catching the virus.
It follows on from this by explaining the best practices for looking after someone infected with Ebola.
It then teaches the safest way to bury someone who has died from Ebola.
Finally, it covers the importance of welcoming survivors back into the community as they are no longer at risk.
This DVD aims to disband harmful rumours about the virus that are detrimental to preventing the spread of the virus, and provide people in West Africa with the information they need to combat this epidemic.
This DVD is part of a series of DVD lessons in Kinyarwanda on Health.
